First frames software

Anyone know of a software package that takes the first frame of a mov or avi? It would need to accept a bunck of files and export the firat file with the filename_that_it_came_from.jpg.

I wrote a script, posted over at VASST, that takes one frame from each event, for creating timelapse. You could take the result, use Vegas' ability to export as individual still files, and then you'd have all your files. You'd still have to name them.

I found frame shots. It seems to do anything I can throw at it. I am currently using it to catalog all of my graphic mov, and avi files. MUCH faster than previewing jpg than movie files in the Vegas explorer auto preview.
