What render setting template did you use - some have audio, some don't (kinda designed to go into dvd architect (the ones that don't ))

the widescreen video stream audio only doesn't have audio. You have to render the audio separately and then joint the two in dvda, or you must choose a template WITH audio.

Thanks for the replys,

Okay. I am just learning this software and am very new at this.

Where do I find the templates? Under the "make movie" button?

I am trying to get the movie in a format that Architect will recognize so I can make a menu driven DVD out of it.

I am not familiar with the "templates" you are referring to.

Hi, I think I am a victim of fraud and misrepresentation by Sony. When I purchased the box for a hundred bucks or a little less no one told me that I had to have a college degree in computers or Microsoft certification. I'm just a guy and the idiots who wrote the manuals and set up the so-called video tutors don't know how to communicate with me. I'm with you, what is a template and why don't they explain things in the manual. Connect the dots, that kind of stuff. What a bunch of crooks. I'll bet the whole Sony Vegas thing is a scam and no one can make it work.

come on drjustian. I am a 45 yr old high school graduate with NO computer training. I knew no terminology. Bought VMS6 a year or 2 ago and taught myself by only the tutorials provided and looked up the terms. It takes time and trial and error, but I am so pleased with the program and have produced tons of videos for family, friends and school/sports groups that are awesome. Stick with it, you will be glad you did.
