First Project - Lost sound part way through.

I just completed my first project in VV. I rendered to MPEG-3 with the DVD settings last night and burned a DVD today using the My-DVD 3.0 software that came with my burner.

Everything looks great on the TV, however, 50 minutes and 26 seconds into the video, the sound goes mute. I checked the MPEG file that came out of VV and it seems fine, so the My-DVD has somehow messed up the works.

Any idea if this is something that I messed up?

I guess I need to purchase a different DVD Authoring package. I want something that isn't very expensive. (way overbudget on this project) I also want something that works.

Further investigations reveal that when the MY-DVD program built the DVD, it created a separate folder and extracted the audion to a MPA file, then built the DVD. The MPA file has the sound clear to the end.

So, I gotta wonder what in the heck is going on?

If it had all of the sound and all of the video, why did the sound stop at 50:26??

I know this is probably a question better suited for MY-DVD forum, but I haven't found it yet.
