First Project - video quality questions

I've quickly compiled my first project with Vegas Movie Studio + DVD ... made up of 4MB photos and music. I'm very disappointed at the quality of the video at the end. I'm looking for a full-screen video of the quality of the original photos and what I'm getting is a small video, pixelated version of my originals. I can't seem to find the knobs to increase the quality settings of the rendered video ... HELP?

Congrats on quickly compiling your first project!

Couple things to ask:

1) What format are your source photos (jpg, gif, png)?
2) What format is your output (mpg, avi, DVD)?
3) What did you do with the photos in Movie Studio? Did you just place them on the timeline, or did you try to adjust things like size and aspect ratio, etc?
4) Let us know what steps you used in the "Make Movie" wizard that yielded your video.

Couple thoughts: If you're using high-res photos, then you'll always wind up with less resolution of your target isa TV screen.

Also, you might have wound up with a distorted or oddly formatted picture if you didn't make any adjustments after placing the photos on the timeline.
