First Run Crash

Finally got VMS 16 installed, however when it tries to load it looks for all the plug-ins. I have Cakewalk installed on same computer and it goes and fetches VST plug-ins for that program also. At this point it crashes and an error comes up. Is there a way for it to NOT look in those folders upon startup?

I think not because all Vegas Programs scan your hardware on VST audio and OFX video plugins. Your only way is to change temporaly the name of the VST location before starting Vegas and after a start you can try to rename that location again.

BINGO! I had thought about doing that but just figured it would still find them anyway. I just renamed the file folder and I can tell Cakewalk to search in that newly named folder. Thanks for the help!
