I finally found a way to fix some flickering we had in dvds from vegas mpegs
1. You really need to use in USA the settings for DVD Standard this causes the mpeg to be correct for US players (size and interlace top to bottom)
2. if you use high quality stil images in vegas projects then use the interlace filter and resample options (right click on image)
You'll eliminate up to 98 or 99% of flicker problems with these settings
Our vegas mpeg's are now as good as we want them for DVD using this setup
