Thanks for the explanation, but when I look at the Pan/Crop for the Noise Texture, I can see the clouds moving but where are these settings that are supposed to be changing? Am I looking in the wrong place? I assume this is happening in the Sky Track 10?

Thanks, GG.... Once again I forgot to "expand" the window to see all the settings. I noticed that the "Progress in degrees" is the setting used to create the illusion from the beginning to the end of the effect.

You got it. That's all I changed -- the progress in degrees. If you change the other settings, it starts to get pretty psychedelic, which is cool but not the effect I was going for.

The gradient on the track just above the clouds creates the illusion of distance.

The Flag waving effect itself is also caused by a noise texture, in conjunction with the new displacement maping in the (also new) parent overlay mode. Ugh, this stuff sounds so complicated and geeky, but you can get some neat effects just by exploring. Thanks for taking a look at the file, Tom, and thanks for explaining GG.

Check out GG's new veggies on the Sundance site. I laughed my ass off when I saw the Drip Down one. How about a completely generated version of the James Bond intro? :-)
