Flash for titling?

Greets-

Are there any obvious downsides to using Flash for creating titles? Possibly someone knows of a better app to do the job; maybe Wildfx would do it more simply?

There are plenty downsides it depends on what the final delivery format is.
CDROM/ computer playback- fine
NTSC TV No good IMHO
Cool3d 'Ulead' or 3d studio-both cheap and make nice titles and more.
you can output title in varios formats including flash, NTSC video, PAL
there are others simalar do a search on titlers in this forum.

Wildfx will output dv...makes for nice simple "titling"....you choose a preset, set the time, render...saves tweaking...A nice tool to have at your fingertips. Others (Ulead, Boris) do appear much more powerful however (still can't bring myself to learn Brois Fx...must be getting old...).

Yeah PDB, I'm in the same boat with Boris- just too complicated to get into.
