FLASH plug in for vegas

I am currently using Vegas 5 which has the capability to render quciktime, wmv, mpeg, and lots of other file types, but offers no options for flash-----Is there a plug in that will allow me to export (render) files as flash?

You can buy the on2 codec from on2 for the latest flash utilized codec, or you can buy a product from swish- swishvideo, but the encoding size is almost double what wmv is. You will also find that even the newest on2 codec has a bigger file size than wmv.

The newest on2 codec is quite compact, especially with 2-pass encoding. Certainly it shouldn't be much different from WMV.

For anyone who doesn't need 2-pass encoding, On2's Flix Standard 8 for Flash 8 is on sale right now for only $39 (reg. $69).

That's a darn good deal for the real thing.

Currently... there is NO Option that will allow you to Render from VEGAS to Flash.

I would also like this option.
