Hello,
I am suddenly experiencing still pictures flickering when there are vertical lines (siding on a house, egdes of things).
I create a slide show using Vegas 5.0. Render as NTSC AVI and then feed it to DVDA to create a disk. Theresult is I get a flicker from almost all the pictures.
I nver used to get this but then again, I used to use a more tedious process which was :
Vegas created AVI
Create Mpeg2 from AVI using Tmpgenc
Then DVDA to create DVD
Is the encoder in DVDA causing the flicker ? Am I missing a setting ?
Thanks in advance....I do the shorter method because it has saved me a ton of time though quality wise, TMPGENC is much better at rendering final product.
NEW POST EDIT : Never mind, did a search and found this is the nature of the vegas beast. I wiill try two things:
1) Make the pictures smaller (lower res) using my XP power toys feature
2) Use TMPGENC to create a good mpeg and then create the DVD.
Ugghhh...
