Flickering/wavy lines in pan/scan?

Hi folks. I have a rough cut of a new video at this link:

It's supposed to be a parody of the Ken Burns style, with a lot of slow panning and such. But I'm noticing a lot of flickering and also some extra black lines appearing in certain color areas. For example, note the scoreboard in the background at about 0:25 and the green areas on the left part of the background starting at 0:36. But then I don't see that happening in the next shot with the mummy (0:40). I can't seem to identify a difference between the clips, as far as what might be causing that.

Any idea how to fix that? Thanks!

This kinda looks like a Moire or Aliasing pattern problem.

I'm not sure how to solve that exactly. I recently started using a Canon 5d mark II and I'm noticing this pattern on some clothing in videos. Though yours looks like computer animation, so maybe some of the drawings could be altered?

Neat video by the way.

I've noticed that the background color issue was only happening on a few of the earlier shots, and it turns out that those were all JPGs, and I had switched to use PNGs for everything thereafter. So I re-rendered those shots as PNGs, and hopefully that should do it. But that still doesn't explain the jittery thing with the scoreboards, but I'm not as concerned about those, because that's really only when they're far away in the background. Still, I'd like to fix it, if possible, but no, the illustrations can't be redone at this point.
