Fog/smoke in Vegas

I'm trying to add fog effects or smoke effects at various points in a documentary. Is this effect possible in Vegas? If anyone has a plugin that works right in Vegas, I'm up for that also. I have a number of photos and video clips that will be flashing on screen, and I'd love to be able include the fog or smoke moving around the footage.

Particle Illusion
Cool 3D

both reasonably cheap, both have demos, both easy to use.
Vegas doesn't have a generator, you can sorta make smoke in Vegas, but it's much easier with a tool designed for that specific function.

Check out Detonation Films for smoke effects. I used them in a movie in several places and they looked very good. Depends on what you are looking for. I have Particle Illusion as well but I never used it for smoke.

Great assistance, thanks everyone. I'm going to work with the Particle Illusion demo a bit today to check it out, but I already ordered the HD Atmosphere clips from Detonation Films. That was a great suggestion, thanks.

Bluff Titler produces acceptable smoke effects:

You could also do it right in Vegas using the Noise Texture Media Generator on the Cloud Cover setting and tweaking from there. Animate it with the Progress parameter. You can get some fairly good wispy smoke. I agree that particleIllusion would be my go-to tool of choice.
