Folders

I have Movie Studio 15 Platinum and in Properties under Folders I see 2. Folders that I can change where they are.

1. Recorded Files Folder and 2. Pre Rendered Files Folder.

I have an External USB 3.0 Drive so I changed these Folders to this Drive.

And I Right that this will be ok or should they be on the Main Drive?

Probably okay as I've used external drives for all source material when opening old projects.

Better use the New Project wizard with the "Manage project files" option to start a new project. Than those folders are automatically located in the Project folder, together with the final renders. When you also save the project with "copy media with project" option, you have a perfect archive/backup folder with all project relevant files of your video project, which ofcourse can be on an external drive.
