Somehow, I accidentally sent my last post before
finishing...
Let's see...errr...I think I left off with the Trim Window
suggestion...
And, one other feature suggestion:
4) Customizable hotkeys for various functions, stored in a
user setup file.
Here are some operational questions:
1) Is there a way to dictate the default track effects that
are automatically included when a track is added? If not,
might I suggest a function for this (i.e. build the channel
strips as a global attribute). At the very least, it would
seem that a "track noise gate" would be better left as a
track effect to be added, instead of as a defualt plug-
in...It seems a useless waste of DSP for a digital editor
(IMHO).
2) Does anyone else experience a SEVERE reduction in
overall stability with Acoustic Mirror inserted as a buss
effect? I crash frequently when using this plug-in (on a
PIII 733 Cu with 256MB of RAM).
3) If a track or buss effect is "bypassed" but still in
the chain, is it still absorbing CPU?
Thanks in advance for answers to my questions and
consideration of these feature additions.
Congrats on this product. I look forward to learning more
about it with more seat time.
