For IzoRX! Just seen this . . .

iZotope RX - Denoiser[/link]

I learnt even more from this video than I did the previous. Nice one IZO!

Couple points I just picked-up from their FAQs:

1] Keystrokes for Izo as a Vegas Plug don't work.

2] RX uses multiple CPUs ONLY in Denoiser and these you can setup in Prefs>Misc. Check to see if you've got them working too.

Yes, this is a great product, I just downloaded the latest update.
With this, you can do the impossible. Combined with Voxengo redunoise you can do miracles.
I own both, and tend to reach out for Voxengo when noise from a computer fan, or a studio-light fan, needs to be removed.

I tried Voxengo back in April/May I think (their free plugin Stereo Touch) but I couldn't get Vegas to see it so I didn't try anything else. Copied the dll to the VST folder but Vegas just would not see it.

Harold,

Voxengo installs to:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins

Select Options/Preferences from the Vegas menu, then select the "VST Effects" tab. Add the path where the Voxengo DLL resides, and you hopefully will se the Voxengo VST. At least it shows up here in my Vegas.

How do these plugins compare to Sony's noise reduction?

Thanks, Marc
