Force close when opening a project ..help!

My vegas force closes when i try to open an older project.. its giving me the following error message. Can some 1 point me in the right direction?

What sorts of media files are in the old project? Can you give us the project settings info? At least the resolution and framerate.

One thing you can try, go into Vegas' preferences and disable all GPU acceleration, then try to load the project. If that fails, try holding shift while clicking preferences, click on the "internal" tab, type so4 into the search box, and disable the second row of results you get back (set them to FALSE). You'll be asked to restart Vegas. See if either of those help, and if not, report back with as much of the info requested above as possible.
