I don't think Vegas has any keyborad shortcuts. You may need to use the Character Map applet (found in the Accessories -> System Tools section of the Start menu).

That's what you can do for any language with characters in the ASCII code (english, french, spanish). However, if you want to do other languages, you need that language installed on your computer & it's keyboard setup installed (I had a 30 minute talk today about how the Polish chars work on US keyboards. Pretty neat!).

Yeah, gotta have the language support installed in Windows. I did Thai subtitles for a multimedia CD once using the text generator. I copied the text from a Word document and pasted into Vegas. Worked really good.

We've done the same with Chinese, worked a treat.
Best starting point is buying a keyboard with the lanuage set you need on it, saves a HUGE amount of stabbing in the dark.
