Format?

OT: Adding an external hard drive to a laptop to store MFX files in the field.
IT guy wants to know if I need the drive formatted as FAT 32 or, um, er, something else.
Sorry, not a computer guy.
What's best for video?

Should be formatted NTFS in order to handle larger video files.

Well, your "IT guy" should know that if your laptop is XP or Vista, the external drive should be formatted NTFS.
