Touch wood, I seem to be O.K. Not sure what I can suggest other than a note to Support (unless you've accidentally pushed a button of some sort on your anti-virus or anti-phishing programmes).
I thought it might be Firefox 3.5.3 update which occurred yesterday, but even IE8 is asking me for the password.
What's really odd is even Apple's site is doing something weird - keeps asking me for cookie confirmation (from the same site) even though I've already replied that cookies are acceptable for the session. I wonder if these two are related in any way.
I'm getting it also, with IE8, only with this forum. I don't get it clicking around other parts of the Sony Creative site, and I don't get it on any other sites I visit.
Windoze XP - sp3, Firefox 3.5.3 (latest update) no problem here although I do sometimes see an issue with Firefox that may or may not be related. Periodically, if I go to check my Boeing retirement stuff, I get an "invalid redirection" in Firefox, but IE6 will do it just fine on the same machine. Other times, Firefox works fine. It almost sounds like a cookie issue of some sort (must be those diet cookies ??)
Appears to be OK now -- I know that Madison likes to do their web maintenance on Sunday mornings, when all but us hardcore asocial types are doing something else.

1:04 pm (US Central) I'm getting the login prompt running IE8...
1:52 pm (US Central) No more login prompt...
2:43 pm (US Central) It's back...
For IE it asks 3 times per page. I think it's probably something with the SCS forum server using assets that require another password. Possibly an element at another domain or something.
firefox 3.5.3...everytime i try to open a post. this started right after Firefox and Microsoft updates...both had security fixes, which i suspect is the cause of this.
I'm getting this in Opera v10, Chrome and IE8. I have not upgraded anything in the last several days. Just clicking on cancel makes it go away, but it pops up again the next time I do anything on the forum. As was mentioned earlier, hitting ESC works, too.
