How would I go about saving an AVI file so that plays faster then it supposed to. Kinda of a FFWD effect?

You might try adding a velocity envelope (+3X) and increase playback-rate (+4X).

That's +12X... if you need faster, you can render to a new track and speed that up.

Import the .avi into VV3, apply a velocity envelope and push up the velocity to well over 100%. The only problem with this method is that your audio will be out of sync, but you can separate the audio.
