Frame advance?

Hello Forum,

I've been editing video on PC for a while and have tried several different software packages. All have at least one feature that makes it better than the others. But Sony Vegas Movie Studieo 4.0 seems to offer EVERYTHING that all the others have, with one exception - a clickable frame advance.

The Horizontal scroll Bar under the editing time lines expands and retracts the timeline, (panning forward and back) and the arrows on each end move the frames window, but nothing seems to move THE CURSER one frame at a time other than the "play" which is too fast for frame accurate decisions, or clicking on the timeline tic marks at the top of the window.

Is there a setting somewhere or way to move the curser a frame at a time?

thanks in advance for any insights about this.

For one frame at at time, use the 'Alt' key and either left arrow or right arrow. If you have your zoom set to the exact right level, then just the left or right arrows, but if the zoom changes, then you need to add the 'Alt' key to get 1 frame at a time.
Edit: It was mentioned up there, but I accidently skipped over it while skimming through that massive list.
