Frame capture

I use Vegas MS Platinum v.9b to edit HD tape footage from an HC7 camcorder. I find that when clips are sorted from project media and rearranged onto the timeline, at least 50% of the clips have also retained the first frame from the following clip! Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you overcome it?

You cut. All your HDV clips need cutting. I do on mine too. Vegas always had this bug, they don't seem to care to fix it (it's been reported repeatedly for 2 years now and there are countless forum posts about this on vegas-related forums elsewhere).

Thanks for replying to my query!, sorry for not getting back to you earlier; this is the first time I have had to use the Forum. I am still sending e-mails to Sony, but they have not solved it yet...To be honest I had the same problem with Pinnacle S11, that's why migrated to Vegas! I will now ask Sony if anyone else has reported this problem. It does add unnnecessary work to a project. It's also the same with Vegas Pro.
