Frame drops when capture is done on drive D: but not C: Help and Thanks

I have two hardrives, a C: and a D: when I capture videos with the C drive, I don't get any drop frames, but when I do with the D drive, frame drops. Does anyone no the problem with it? Thanks

Specs of Pc

P4 2.6 ghz
512 ram
Drive C: 60 gigz
Drive D: 120 gigz

Make sure DMA is active on drive "D"
