Is it anyway possible to get smooth clear slow motion play
back from SF. The type quality that is most seen in music
videos? Can the frame capture rate be increased in the SF
video capture utility?
When changing the velocity of an event or time-compressing
or expanding, be sure to check "resample" in the switch for
that event. Also, you might want to change the interleave
to Progressive in the Video settings under Custom Render.

Wouldn't be much point in capturing the video at higher
rates, if your video camera only captures and stores video
at 25 or 30 frames per second anyway
Sophisticated cameras capable of capturing at 60 frames per
second and above are used in those music videos.
You *can* increase the quality of your slow motion in Vegas
if you tell Vegas to RESAMPLE takes that have had their
speed altered.
You will also get less flicker if you render to a non-
interlaced format, such as Progressive Scan DV. The help
file explains a bit more, press F1 and search
for "resample".
