"frame size is not supported"

I needed to re-render a WMV file from an older project, so I opened it in V5 and tried to output it and I received an error: "frame size is not supported." BTW, the size is 200x450. So, I closed V5 and opened V3 and tried it there and it worked perfectly. Has something changed in V5 that resricts the frame size of a WMV file? And how come it works in V3 -- did Sony "fix" something in V5 that corrects this "flaw" in V3?

Thanks.

WMV frame sizes must be multiples of 4. Try 200x448 or 200x452.

Thanks. Yep, setting the frame size to a multiple of 4 does work in V5.

But, why did the old frame size work in V3? Was this restriction always there and V3 just ignored it? The resulting wmv files (with non "4x4" frame size) always played back just fine.

Dunno. I always thought the requirement was to be a multiple of 8, so that's what i always used and never tried anything inbetween. 8 is the requirement for MPEG, but WMV needs 4.
