People probably already know about this, but in case someone wants to experiment with DVCPRO50, you can download and install the free Matrox DVCPRO50 codec.
Go here, register, and download:
http://www.matrox.com/video/support/ds/software/codec/home.cfm
Then you'll have the Matrox DVCPRO50 codec, which can be used to display or render to, with no watermarks.
How you get DVCPRO50 material onto your computer, or off of it, is another question, but if you do have some DVCPRO50 footage, you can now edit it within Vegas using this free codec!
