It would be nice to have FreeFrame support for VV5. If you are not familiar with what FreeFrame is, it is an open protocol for video plugins. There are currently about 100 known FreeFrame plugins. They currently work in the following programs:
Resolume
VJamm
visualJockey
Flowmotion

These are all more of real-time video programs, but the plugins work the same in a NLE environment.

I use Pete Warden's (FreeFrame founder and one of the developers for Apple's new Motion product) plugins all the time in visualJockey, and there is some real cool stuff in there.
