Freeze frame

okay... this SHOULD be easy... The manual says "you can turn looping off and make the last frame of an event's media repeat. The clip I am using has two scenes. It seems to be freezing the last frame from the second scene on that clip. What I want is a freeze from the first scene....

any ideas?

When you refer to "the clip I'm using has two scenes," are you referring to a piece of footage that has two undivided scenes in it -- e.g., Tape1 Clip1, with a shot of a car and a shot of a dog -- or to two events on the timeline?

The manual refers to material placed on the timeline -- events.

Put your material on the timeline, split it into two events and the manual's instructions should work. I'm not in my editing room so I can't test this advice, but I think it's correct.
