i read the post on who to do freeze frame (using the sanpshot capture button) and got it working.
but what if i have an external monitor? then the copy\save snapshot is disabled (grayed), also the snapshot capturing option should be highlighted more in the help files as generaly they did a good job at teaching me this sotware in 2 days.
forgive my poor english

The snapshot option is basically a "print screen" of the preview display.
If you're using an external monitor, you can't capture the preview from
the main display. You have to switch the preview back to the main screen
in order to capture it.

For this same reason, the capture will be the same size as the preview
window. If your preview window is smaller than the project size, the
captured image will be smaller too.

Is there any other way to grab a frame from a video, maybe some freeware or shareware program, so that it can modified with a photo application like Abobe Phtoshop. I have tried the snapshot juction of VV3 and would like a higher quality image to work with. I enlarged the image as large as I could in the preview window, about half teh area of the diplay.

i just cant understand why there isnt a SaveFrameAs command (like there is in any other video editing porgram in vv3). it should be easy to implament.
