Still fighting this demon.

We work in Premiere Pro on a daily basis in the studio but I am back to try another go at this to get our studio to move to Vegas Pro 19. Premiere, even though it works fine on our edits, does not have the creative flow that Vegas has always had. Faster editing and very fluid when you are on a roll. Ok to the problem.

I have noticed this problem for awhile now. A few versions back for me.

Does anyone else notice a hesitation like freeze frame ( frame drop) between clips on a timeline upon playback? Or I can also repro with a transition between clips( fade in )? After you play it back with the hesitation and start at beginning again it seems to go away. But will reappear if you move anything on time line. We noticed this while trying to edit a music video again today with the trial.

Let me add that this footage is 4k xavc-s from a sony a73 camera. This also happens with proxies. Preview quality setting doesn't seem to matter. Can reproduce all day. Machine well qualified for all editing.

Update. I started a new session and dropped in 3 xavc-s files on timeline. Fade transition on last two. On play back Vegas crashed. Crazy I know.
