Freezes Up

Problem: When I open Sony Vegas, the program will freeze up on me within a minute of using it. Nothing specific seems to cause the problem. It just happens automatically. None of my other programs seems to have been affected by this. I've used Sony Vegas Movie Studio for years and have never had this problem.

So you're saying you've been using this version of the program for some time and suddenly the product won't open?

The first thing to check is usually your disc space. How much free, clean, freshly defragmented space is on your C drive?

Intensive programs like this can leave a big footprint on your drive when they open and, unless you've got adequate contiguous space, the program can't open fully or function.
