I play the RM file in RealPlayer and record the sound card's output with Sound Forge. Movie Studio would work for the recording just as well though.

hi.
what do you want to do.. convert the audio from a VR video on a ram disc to a wave file?
if thats what you want to do.... Wombel MPEGVCR has a free 30 day tryout (or used to). with that you could demultiplex the VR file, then convert the audio which is probabably AC3 to Wave.

Maybe thats not what you are refering to. Anyway, just trying to help.
Good luck.

Thanks Chienworks and Thanks JoeS.

What I want to do is to convert a file audio "ram" to a file audio "wav". It's only audio w/out video and... yes... I need it for a VMS project.

I have been searching high and low and I use a software called Total Recorder.

It is basically doing what Chienworks describe and plays the RealAudio file and re-records it.
However, it is doing it several times faster than real time. It is not an expensive piece of software.

All you need is the standard edition for $12. (You can buy RealAudios RealProducer software for $200 that will do the conversion)
