@michael-harrison - Yes, quite. I’ve been power-using Neat Video, from the Event FX Icon which is a plug that gets busy with the CPU + GPU in combination to afford great render and Preview performance. I’ve been using it in COMBO with HOS RE. However, I’ve been getting crashes and whiteouts and have been for the last fortnight been hassling Wayne to determine what could be wrong. OK, in the last hour I’ve experimented with going to the FX Pane, initially to confirm I’ve got the latest NV Update. Welllllll...... blow me down - no crashes thus far.
Yup, it's behaving itself. I've done twenty ColorFast+Mercalli+TWIXTOR iterations without a belch. All the FXs were taken from the FX Pane, not the Event FX Icon.
Odd. I've been working with fx both ways for some time and haven't noticed that kind of correlation with the crashes that happen far too often. I'll keep an eye out

@michael-harrison - Yeah, it’s an odd one if it’s true. So have you had a low level awareness of this too?
I'll keep an eye out
Please do. I want to prove convergence either for Bug or not. It’s been a real PITA for me. I don’t like using Event FX icon as the Menu structure for me is far too much. OTOH, the FX pane’s searching engine is glacial in its operation! By the time it’s been revealed to me I’ve bleedin’ forgotten just why I wanted ColorFast or TWIXTOR.
As per wwjd - no probs for me with any FX in VP17 (other than 1 lockup instance of Mocha Pro within a BCC plugin), but then I don't use either the Mercalli Vegas plugin or TWIXTOR. So far, VP17 build 421 has been rock solid to the point that I often forget to manually 'save' during an edit.
Usually, not more than 1, 2 or 3. The most common would be CF2 then Levels. Next would be BCC Lens Correction for GoPro footage and BCC Noise Reduction for low light/night time shots. Other often used FX are BCC Directional Blur, Brightness and Contrast, and Hue-Sat-Lightness, these mainly being used via the inbuilt Mocha Pro to adjust selected areas of the shot.
Edit: And I should add that I do have Color Correction and Levels added at Track Level for AX100 footage to add a tinge of red (I think that the original is a just a fracca cold - I'm using neutral settings within the camera) and the camera original is often under-saturated in color.
