Full resolution video on a CD?

Just wondering if it is possible to record a small amount of video on a CD at the same resolution as you normally record to a DVD. The idea is to send out some previews of my short and I thought this might be an economic way of doing it.
Can this be done in DVDA? Thanks ahead of time for any help!

As long as your DVD project does not exceed the size of the disk, then yes. I have made a CD-DVD and it worked fine, just bear in mind not all players will accept them.. PC's fair better at playing them.

This is called miniDVD but it is not really supported by standalone players (with very few exceptions).

Altough of lesser quality, SVCD is much more supported and could be a solution.

Note that SVCD is not supported by all players, including recent ones, either.

I've yet to find one that will not play SVCD. They may not list it as being supported but they still play them.
