I am referring to the capture image button in the video capture module, not the video preview window, I have set preview quality to best full and get full size images off of video I have already captured. I am trying to capture single images right from tape, and they always come out small.

Resize the preview screen in the capture program.

Right-mouse-button click on the preview screen and choose Zoom / 100%.

Why do we still have to do this? If vegas is being "told" to do something - take a picture - why should we have to do this watlzing about? .. I supose if we don't ask we don't get .. off to product suggestion I suppose - they can't mind read.. yet! , "Hey Sony .. . ?"

Yep, already been there, done that, each time a new version of Vegas/Vidcap comes out. ;)

I had never used the image capture from Vid Cap before. I always grabbed the jpeg from my captured footage. I did not see this info in the help files, but I should have known. I notice that when the vid cap preview window is at 100% I get choppy playback, but no dropped frames
