i'm just a beginner but it looks like the best you can do is..
click the left arrow in the upper left corner of the preview window to expand it to the left
press the Preview (Auto) button (down arrow next to text) and select Preview (Full).
not exactly what you wanted but at least the preview window is bigger..

How do you get full screen preview in V4? I know how to preview at project size, but I've never seen a full screen option.

Thanks gmes29. Ian , what I am calling full screen may be what you are calling project size. You can move the cursor to the line above the viewing area and ithe cursor turns into 2 small lines and 2 small arrows. You can grab this smybol amd push up until the preview scale (at the bottom)shows 100%.Once you do this you can click on the min/max above the viewing area and to change the viewing area w/o having to drag up and down. You can also drag up and down in VER 6.0 but I have not found a min/max button. Has anyone found this? Also How do you get rid of those grid lines once you have them in there?

Try right clicking in the preview area - display at project size is one of the options.

The gridlines icon itself is a button -- click it to toggle grid lines on or off.

The dropdown arrow next to the icon lets you select what gridlines are displayed when the button is clicked on or off.
