If you buy the version on CD, you recieve a 60-70 page user guide and some royality free video loops. You get the loops with the download if you pay for a shipping charge. If you buy the CD one, don't even need to install it: just enter your serial number into the demo! also, the full version lets you use mpeg-1 and 2 files (render and edit on timeline).
no tutorials and such though. sorry.

The full version purchase in box come with sample videos and sound,tutorials.
If you have high speed internet the you can download the samples from Vegas web site(about 113Mb file) and manual in .pdf where you can printout, but I would go for box.

Thank you for your quick replies.
So the demo is the same as the full version minus printed manual and audio/video samples and everything will work on the program with serial number.

AFAIK unless they've changed, the demo is the full version (software wise) with the exception you need to purchase to get MPEG support due to license restrictions.
