been available down here for nearly 1 year. Local authoring is available as well. AUD 1,500 gets you authoring and a player. At this stage only onto DL regular DVDs. I have no idea when multilayer VMD burners will be available.
Reason this should get our support is right from the outset, they catered to our needs.

Sounds good to me. I read the article but did not see anything about file structures or what it would take to burn a disc with menus, etc. I did see that they will use the mpeg-2, VC1 and may move to H.264.
For the amount they plan to charge for the players, I could include one in every package that I sell and oh what a merry time it would be :)
