One observation that I conflict with is that shutting off the noise reduction in the Sony LCD 46" XBR bravia will reduce the webbing and pixelization. Shutting off the noise reduction in mine has no affect on these. Neither does setting it to "full pixel". (no overscan) However the SD viewed during an HD broadcast is very good.
