Can't this very method be duplicated with a script?

I know something similar has been done but if it can be duplicated perfectly then... ;)

I've just sent them a email about their lack of a DX version. Peter what do you think of this? Good yes?

Isn't this just a different implementation of the render non-real-time fx available in Vegas?

In a way yes but much quicker. Its all done in the plugin chainer and all you need to do is simply "uncheck" the plugin for it to stop streaming from disk to go back to realtime processing. I've got to read about it more but let me tell you people using logic 6 LOVE this feature. A very fast way of concerving cpu while not having to always "bounce" to a new track. I think that all the files being bounced to disk go to a temp folder to be later erased when not in use or erased? Still figuring it out myself obviously.

Everyone please go to the site and email them so that a working DX model is finishied by this products launch.

I have little to NO confidence in cakewalk supporting sofo products with their newly purchaseed VST-DX wrapper that they bought from fxpansion. This would be the only safe bet in the long run. Thanks.

I got an email from them saying they have plans for a native directX version, and that it will be able to freeze powered plugin tracks, such as universal audio UAD1.

he also said until the DX version is available, the VST version should work well with a wrapper.

This is very exciting!
