Over the years I have built, collected and saved plenty of custom fx chains for easy access. I noticed (an understatement) that every time I click on the fx icon it takes about 7-16 seconds to open up the fx window for me to pick an fx or saved presets. When I have a lot ot apply on a lot of events, this drastically increases my time on a project. (This is true for Vegas 7, 8, 8.1, 9 and 9 64).

Short of removing presets, how can I spead up the fx window popping up? Can I move some of them out and keep them elsewhere for safe keeping and reinstallation when needed?

Anybody else experiencing this?
