G-Raid and Vegas+DVD

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this product. I check out their site at:

http://www.medea.com/products/go.cfm?Prod=VideoG-RAID

Says it works with Vegas, but doesn't list DVDA under DVD authoring programs, though a few others are mentioned.
It's got firewire 800. Is that do-able with Vegas?
Thanks for any help!

As these kinds of devices only appear to the OS as another drive(s) I can think of no reason why it wouldn't work with any application apart from stuff that does low level disk access.

Sorry, the response I sent seems to have gotten lost. But I wanted to thank you for your response here. I actually asked a professional in town here who owns a g-raid and he said he's had a lot of problems with it. Siad he likes having a mobile stirage of 1.5 hours of uncompressed stuff, but that it has caused many sleepless nights.
Oh well, guess I need to keep looking.

firewire 800 is not supported by SP2, at less some people have claimed problems, the firewire 800 is designed to work at 400 speed, if needed. If your CPU is slow, with low memory, 800 operations will not operate smoothly, so if you have 3 dv captures running on the 800, your in trouble
