Gaps in the timeline

Greetings listers,
In VMS P 10, I imported HDV media, which was captured earlier but not saved as a project at that time. I then selected all the clips and dragged them to the time line. Now, as I scrub through the timeline, there is a one-frame gap between most of the video events on the timeline. Not every one, but most. Is this normal? Is there a way to remove them globally? Should I even bother with them; just close them up as I edit the timeline?

Your insight is always greatly appreciated.

Do you have Snapping enabled? If not, I suggest enabling it. When you drag an event to the timeline and put it next to the previous event, you should see a blue line appear to let you know they're butted up against each other.

I don't think there's a way to remove the gaps globally in VMS. The Pro version has a script to do it. No scripts in VMS.
