Okay, about a month ago I did a massive capture into my PC of m2t files--about 230GB worth. I then used GearShift (the previous version) to create DV proxies, which it eventually did.
Now, in Vegas7 and using the most recent version of GearShift (1.6.4), I notice that if I switch between HD and proxy, there is about a 12-frame shift of both the video and audio on the timeline. The clip itself doesn't shift, but the contents do.
I've just now tried creating the proxies of some m2t files with the new GearShift version. Those proxies behave normally on the timeline when GearShifted back and forth.
Is this expected behavior? Are the proxies created with the previous version of GearShift not compatible with the current version?
