I'm doing it here with a Geforce MX2 on Win. ME.
It has one VGA & one S-video output. 1152x864 and 640x480. Works great with a couple frames per second faster playback than OHCI. Do a search here for dual monitor and/or twin view to find some info I've posted.

So far HPV has been the only person to get this to work, so if you do please tell us how. Or at least he's been the only one to try to help _me_ to get it to work.

I can connect my TV and set it to 800X600 (desktop at 1024X780), but then I only have 3 choices: Clone, horiz span, or vertical span (of the desktop). There simply isn't a mode that will allow 2 independent windows.

I think you want to use the horiz. span option. Also when you click/highlight on the Monitor 2 icon(Display Properties/Settings main window) there is a check box that says "Extend my Windows Desktop onto this monitor". This should be checked/activated.
There is also a setting to set your main monitor as Primary. This makes apps. open in the VGA window.
I'll do some asking on the rec.video.desktop newsgroup and see what others have to say about various Windows versions and dual monitor setups.
What version of Windows are you guys using?

Yes, mine would work like that if I was willing to put up with a really bizarre desktop size. So I guess we're talking about the same thing but I just can't tolerate the look of the thing.

What I really want is like when I run a movie in The Playa - it shrinks down out of sight, the movie plays full screen on the TV, and I can still work on my regular 1024X768 full desktop.
