Not as far as I know, but all you have to do is select the nearest template that's included, change it's size, colours, design etc then give it a name and save it as a preset.

If you want to create gradients, or other masks in Photoshop, just save them in a folder and you can drag them straight to the timeline from the Explorer tab.

I understand what you mean, and I'm already doing that. But it would be great if I could create something and then adjust colour etc. just like the other generated media..

You can always apply things like Hue shift or Color correction to your own files from within Vegas.
