Generated Media Blank

I am trying to insert generated media but when the tool box comes up the screen options are half blank. Therefore, there is no way to alter the style or properities. The drop down menus, everything - nothing shows up. It's like something is covering it, but there isn't anything that appears to be. I am having the problem in VMS 9 and Vegas Pro 9. Does anyone else have this issue. Any assistance would be really appreciated.

Not sure what's happening, but grab the generated media dialog box by the six dots in it's upper left corner and drag to the center of your screen, then double click on the title bar to reset window size. Let us know if this helps. Cin

Do you only see the timeline in that dialog? If yes, slowly move the mouse toward the top of the dialog. As soon as it turns into an up/down arrow, click and drag DOWN. The timeline area is resizable.

I have pulled the generated media box (in this case the Sony Credit Roll) out by the handle to the middle of the screen, double clicked as you directed and while the box size does return to it's original, it still is missing half of the style/properties screen. I can actually click the drop down menu for effect for example and the drop menu shows up accross the screen as normal but I am not able to toggle through any style settings like font size or slide the effect parameters bars to alter the media. If there is a way to post a screen shot I can do that if it helps?

Hi Montana,
I wish there was an easy way to post a screen shot here, but Sony thought that might make it too easy to help people, so you have to post it outside of here. Having said that, I'm just not understanding what you are seeing. It's good you got the window in the center and resized it. Have you manually tried grabbing the edges of the window and expanding it that way? When you say 'I am not able to toggle through any style settings like font size or slide the effect parameters bars to alter the media.' is that because you can't see them, or they just don't work?
