Generated media (mostly) not showing in preview and does not render

I am just using the default text media generator for titles. All tracks are neither muted nor solo. Graphics track is on top. Sometimes the titles will appear in the preview window, but even if they do, they don't render. Click away to work on another section, come back, no longer in the preview window. No offline media indicator. Very annoying. GPU acceleration unchecked, rebooted, etc. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Newly updated Vegas Pro 23 build 302

AMD Radeon onboard GPU latest driver available installed (since July) 25.8.1

Windows 11
