use the preview window. A second on the vegas TL = a second on the gen media TL.

for some reason i can`t preview what i`m doing on the generated media timeline .. i don't understand why..

The synch cursor function doesn't operate in Generated Media, but you can create a loop on the timeline and play this continuously while tweaking your text - this way you can see and hear exactly what happens when.

Another way is to copy/paste TimeCode (Trimmer > Timeline)
Here a tutorial I made (in French).

" (in French)." Ah-hah! This schoolboy's French still him through. Great tutorial. And your method makes for precision too.

But I, like Peter, use the "loopy" method.

Place marker β€˜hit m on keyboard β€œ sometimes two depends on your ending or even three or four if you highlite that area you can see the time increments below you view panel
Then set the keys to the marker sometimes I add a zoom bang in pan and crop with a motion blur then you need to line the fx exact to the marker and then infinity zoom with blur in pan and crop
Just slide your keys to the marker so if your blur needs to kick in fraction of a second later slid the blur key after the marker

The markers or normaly set to audio then line up your keys to the markers

2,3, 4 are markers if needed

the markers are set to the beat of your audio or action points

The others have given some workarounds for this problem, but if you are interested in the reason for it you can find it here.
