getting best performance (correct settings) when using 2080Ti card

When using this video card can anyone tell me all the places I need to go to make use of it.. In options- preferences I have it set to use GPU .. but in task manager when rendering or analyzing slow motion I am only seeing about 3-5% GPU and 80-90% CPU.. I am using win 10 and I-9 with plenty of ram

Which program and buildnr. you use?

Which drivers number is installed for that video card?

all are the most current.. My main question is what / where are the different places in MS 17 that I can configure to use the GPU???

I asked which number of the driverversion is used, that can make big differences.
GPU can be used at video acceleration ( Options/Preferences/Video), decoding the video ( Options/Preferences/I/O File) and at rendering with some codecs (f.i. the Magix ones).
